WONDERFUUUUL! some of these zines were totally new to me, but i love hibi (i had one copy of it in my shop but it's gone now)! That online shop called shimokitazawa is actually in Taipei not Tokyo. First I thought "あれ？where in shimokitazawa is this shop???" and "why in Chinese??" then I found their address at the bottom. They have a really great selection though!!!!
ah ha! i saw it was all in chinese on the flickr site, but then saw the name shimokitazawa and all the japanese books on display and assumed it was in shimokitazawa (maybe with chinese staff:) oops! thanks for that hiki, i will update the text on the post:)
i think it is also a magazine or book cover?? but i am also in dark as the actual shop info is in chinese (see above comments:) and hi nazara, i would have guessed that you would know about them and like them:) - so very unusual and amazing selections ne!
Ow this is so great! I discovered that flickr a while ago, and it made me so increcibly happy. I really want to go to Taipei just for the shop! :) Such a pity that it's on the other side of the world for me.
You find the most amazing things, thanks so much for sharing! I've spent the last 10 minutes poring over all the beautiful covers just wishing I could flick through them all... :)
