magazines and happiness

i have been a bit sick lately, but things are starting to pick up now.
with the australian dollar doing quite nicely in the big bad world of international currency,
i went a little nuts with collecting some great-looking magazines and things.
they make me happy, so i treat myself.

above is the japanese volume of lines and shapes, volume 9

and i am (im)patiently waiting for my first apartamento to arrive.
you can now subscribe directly. see apartamento site for details.

and of course hiki at the very great uguisu
has some excellent new magazines.
(and wow, how great is this makoto kagoshima exhibition? heaven)

ps - i also just saw this in saturday's newspaper, and it made me laugh:

"Clothes make the man. Naked people have
little or no influence on society."
Mark Twain, US humorist, novelist, short story author, & wit (1835 - 1910)
