we went on a little holiday to the high country in Victoria.
this is our favourite mountain lake,
on a very nice mountain with an abandoned chalet
with old crocquet lawns and rose gardens from 1910.

it's a little forgotten mountain tucked in around the
more bustling ski destination mountains.

we camped and made pancakes in the morning.
not a soul around,
just the laughing kookaburras
and the autumn-toned still waters.

an excellent antidote to some months of extreme busyness.

we were loving the grey-green-silver eucalyptus foliage

this was dinnertime - pasta
